  • 1cup of rice Lestello
  • 2eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • lemon peel
  • oil for frying
  • 1/3 cup of powdered sugar

A method of preparing

Rinse the rice, drain in a sieve. Boil the milk, add rice and cook stirring for about 25-30 minutes. on a low flame until getting gruel. When the gruel is cooked, remove the pot from heat, add sugar, mix and cool. Put the eggs to the gruel, add the flour and lemon skin, mix properly. Heat the oil in a pan, and with spoon put small portions of dough. Form the cakes and fry to gold colour both sides . Before serving sprinkle with powdered sugar.
