Veal brisket with rice and raisins

  • 10 dag of rice Lestello
  • 1 kg of veal brisket
  • oil
  • 5 dag of raisin
  • 10 dag of sheep cheese
  • salt, pepper
  • garlic to taste

A method of preparing

Wash the meat, incise with a knife, separate the rib bones from the brisket. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, leave for 2 hours. Cook the rice, grate the cheese, or dice. Mix the rice with raisins and cheese, season with garlic. Then apply the rice evenly over the prepared meat, roll like roulade, tie up with thread, grease with oil, wrap in foil and bake in a hot oven. At the end of baking, uncover and brown meat. Take the soft meat out, cut it into portions, arrange on a platter. Serve cold or hot.
