Tomatoes with groats

  • 10 dag of barley groats Lestello
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 tablespoons of black olives
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 cup of broth
  • salt, pepper, curry

A method of preparing

Wash the carrots and peel off. Clean the garlic and onions than rinse. Finely chop vegetables, olives cut in half, fry in a pan with olive oil. Cook the groats, add salt and curry. Pour the groats to vegetables and mix properly and pull the pan off from the fire. Wash tomatoes thoroughly, drain, cut the top away and hollow with a small spoon. Fill the tomatoes with stuffing. Move them to the baking dish, pour a glass of broth and bake about 10 minutes in an oven heated to a temperature of 170 (°C).
