A method of preparing
Pour the beans with cold water and allow to stand for few hours.Dice the bacon. Pell the onion and vegetables and dice. Fry the onion in 1 tablespoon of oil. Pour the wine to the fried onion, and simmer until half of the liquid evaporates and then put it into heat-resistant dish. Cut the beef into thick cubes, season with salt, sprinkle with flour and fry to a golden color. Put the meat to the dish with onion and pour water to cover it. Add a bit of thyme, bay leaf and black pepper. Cover with lid and put into oven heated to a temperature of 180 (°C). Bake approximately 1.5 hours. Half an hour before the end of cooking add chopped vegetables, bacon and beans. Mix and bake for 20-30 minutes more covered with the lid.
